A true California girl, Christa Ravenscroft grew up in lovely, small beach towns along California’s Central Coast. Living near the beach for all of her life, and currently residing in Southern California in the small fashionable town of Redondo Beach, she developed a love for the casual, chic and slightly bohemian styles that define Central and Southern California.

    Christa’s love for jewelry making dates back to her young adulthood when her youthful taste in beautiful quality jewelry exceeded her just-out-of-college budget. Unable to find quality jewelry at a reasonable price stimulated her interest in making her own jewelry designs. Her goal was to create simple, authentic jewelry that would last over time and, most importantly, affordable. This became her passion and obsession, as she wanted to offer lovely pieces made with quality materials at better prices than the high-end boutiques were offering. So she began making jewelry for herself and friends in addition to selling her designs at local street fairs.

    In the early 1990’s, her interests led her to work with wholesale fashion accessories at the California Mart in Los Angeles. She continued her full-time career in the fashion industry and product development while continuing to create her own jewelry designs for herself and other local customers. As Christa’s family began to grow, her focus changed from a successful 20-year career in fashion and product development to raising two wonderful children full-time. Through the years, friends and long-time customers continued to request more jewelry designs, so when her children reached grade school, she now had more time to focus on her jewelry creations and the dream of starting her own business.

    In 2014, Christa started her own jewelry company, Ravenscroft Designs, to fulfill her long-standing dream of providing unique and authentic jewelry at affordable prices. In addition to the online store, Ravenscroft Designs offers clients the opportunity to host a jewelry party to view her entire line of jewelry and earn credit towards their favorite merchandise. Jewelry parties are a fun way to get friends, family, organizations, and co-workers together to work closely with Christa to learn jewelry styling techniques with a layered-look, in addition to requesting customized jewelry to meet individual needs. She enjoys working with individuals and goes above and beyond to make her clients happy.

Christa currently designs primarily with sterling silver, 14K gold-filled, semi-precious stones and pearls.  Some of her more exclusive jewelry designs incorporate solid 14K gold and precious stones including diamonds.
